My dream of having a small garden from my backyard is for me to cook fresh vegetables straight out of it. I feel blessed every time I harvest vegetables and at the same time cook it. One of the exciting vegetables that I got to harvest this year were cabbages. I got to cook Cabbage rolls for the first time, Yepey! I remember eating this kind of dish during turins and it?s so good. I never thought of cooking cabbages like this before and so I consulted to my number one cooking advisor, my mom in law. Boy I could not live life without her telling me what to do in my kitchen. Laughs.
She said she cooked this from an Isreal cooking recipe. Her family didn?t like the recipe so much but, what you gonna do, a cabbage is a cabbage and you gotta cook what recipe can fit in. It was the easiest recipe ever but I have to add spaghetti sauce next time instead of tomato paste, water and vinegar. Have you tried cabbage rolls folks? Do you like it?
